Nearly 300 people experienced an amazing event on September 11, 2009. Fire dances at the reception. Cats, new kittens and dogs from the Pets Lifeline shelter made special appearances. Over a dozen breathtaking performances by international Cirque artists created specifically for the event dazzled the crowd. The event was, and still is, the talk of the town. Stories about the event and photos made front page news in the Sonoma Index-Tribune, on 9/14/09.
Supporting a vital organization that is solely dedicated to the care and welfare of animals is what motivated us to become a major sponsor. The event far exceeded our expectations. Our instinct, was that the Galapagos Islands Journey was a perfect fit. We're thrilled that our sponsorship of the main auction prize added positive energy and, resulted in an $11,000 donation to Pets Lifeline. The winner will travel to the Galapagos Islands for eight days aboard the luxury yacht, La Pinta.
