Golfing enthusiasts fly by helicopter where Mt. Everest serves as a backdrop for the 2 hole excursion. A Mt. Everest summiteer accompanies golfers as the return helicopter trip flies over Gokyo Lake, Everest and Amadablan base camps, with a short stop at Lukla. Guests can play 17 holes at the golf course located in the former royal family’s hunting reserve, surrounded by the Himalayas. Prior to the game, and to bring good luck, local monks will hold a special "blessing of the golf clubs" ceremony.
