The Details: The Cox & Kings air safari loops over the spectacular Langtang, Manaslu, Lamjung, and Annapurna ranges and Mount Everest (views you can't get from a fixed-wing aircraft). Mountaineer Tashi Tenzing—grandson of Tenzing Norgay, the Sherpa who, with Edmund Hillary, first summited Everest—joins your high-altitude ride to provide the deets on the peaks. Accommodations at the Yeti Mountain Lodge, in the Sherpa village of Lukla, tours of the Bhaktapur and Patan World Heritage Sites, and yarns from Everest summiteers are part of the adventure.
