Martha Stewart's March 4th TV episode the "India Show" featured a prize giveaway of a trip for two to India, sponsored by Cox & Kings, Air India and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. An audience member in the studio watching the taping of the show won a fabulous trip to Delhi (Gurgaon), Jaipur and Agra, home of the Taj Mahal.
Excerpt from the show where Martha announces the winner of the trip to India:
Martha: From New York State, Dorothy Santorum. Where is Dorothy? [ applause ] Where is she? Oh. Dorothy — woo-hoo!
Dorothy: I don't win anything. This is the greatest. I can't believe it. I just can't believe it.
Martha: Have you ever been to India? Have you ever been?
Dorothy: I haven't even seen Brooklyn. This is simply fantastic. I am so — oh, I can't believe it.
Martha: Oh, my gosh. you're very fortunate. [ applause ] You're going to — you're going to have a wonderful, wonderful trip.
Dorothy: I'm so excited. I am so excited.
Martha: Are you married?
Dorothy: Oh, yes, I am.
Martha: Are you going to take your husband?
Dorothy: No. No. Absolutely not.
Martha: You don't have to tell us. Your best friend.
Dorothy: No, no, no. I will. I'm going to take my daughter-in-law.
Martha: Oh, how lovely. How nice. That would be wonderful.
Dorothy: Absolutely fantastic. I'm overwhelmed.
