Cox & Kings' Libya tour named to Outside's 2011 Trips of the Year

The March 2011 issue of Outside Magazine featured Cox & Kings' eight-day Timeless Treasures of Libya trip in its “23 Reasons to Get Out There" article. Trip highlights include the beautifully preserved ancient Roman city of Leptis Magna, on the Mediterranean coast, and the labyrinthine desert oasis town of Ghadamas.
 
Outside lists Libya as a new travel frontier, with Cox & Kings mentioned as the premier travel brand, giving guests first-class access to the destination.

More than two centuries ago Richard Cox was appointed as a regimental agent to the Foot Guards. The first iteration of the company was Cox & Co. Richard's role as a 'military agent' in those early days was a 'business' that ranged from shipment of personal effects to the requisition of supplies.
